As a private family-owned business, Central Electricals International Limited's base was founded in 1951. From humble beginnings as Central Electric House, located in Mombasa, Kenya, CEIL has now grown into a multi-national fully-integrated electrical contractor of choice. With three generations and over seven decades of experience and employing the best skill set and resources, we aim to provide the best integrated Building Services and Infrastructure Solutions. CEIL has continued to grow its client base and expand, managing larger and more complex jobs, while retaining its core values and service.
Over this time the company has also expanded internationally and positioned itself in new market segments. We have our vision set to deepen our market foot-print in the countries we operate in and expand into other promising markets within Africa. CEIL is an Electrical & Associated works Contracting & Facility Management company with well-established and regional offices in: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Congo & South Sudan.
From our Head Office & regional Head offices, we have also executed projects in Somalia, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zambia, Congo & Liberia and have tendered for several projects in many countries in Africa and Beyond. CEIL have diversified and extensive experience in having successfully completed a multitude of major projects across several sectors, which include: Power Stations, Substations, Rural Electrification, Generator Installations, PV Installations, Shopping Centers, Industries/Factories, Hyper-markets, Educational Institutions (Universities & Schools), Embassies, Hotels, Resorts, Hospitals, Commercial Buildings, Street Lighting, Airports, Residential Estates, Railway Stations, Industries, Fuel Depots, Fuel Stations, Data Centers, Water Pumping Stations amongst others.
