Energy EPC Leader

Central Electricals International Limited (CEIL) is a 3rd Generation Pan African Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Firm established in 1951. Headquartered in Kenya with active operations across East and Central Africa, CEIL has successfully completed over 20 MW of distributed renewable energy across Central and Sub-Saharan Africa, with an additional 30 MW at different development stages.
In partnership with Development Finance Institutions, CEIL structures long-term PPA/Debt/Equity financing for renewable energy projects above 2MW in developing markets including Zimbabwe, Chad, DR Congo, Central African Republic, and Somalia.

Our Installation Work Process

At CEIL Solar, we approach each system installation project with the utmost professionalism and expertise. Our technicians follow a carefully designed process that eliminates the possibility of errors during installation, from first meeting to long-term maintenance.

Initial Review

You'll meet with a consultant to discuss your energy needs, estimate costs, and explore financing options. They'll guide you through system sizing and explain how installation cost is determined based on your energy usage and site factors.

Site & Data Analysis

To maximise your system's benefits, our engineers conduct a thorough site survey, assessing all conditions and aspects. This ensures we design a customised energy solution specific to your location and requirements.

Proposal & Negotiation

Based on our findings, we create a bespoke design and send you a clear presentation with a draft technical proposal, expected solar performance, and annual energy costs — with no hidden terms.

Contract, Discussions & Execution

Upon mutual understanding of the preliminary proposal, we proceed to contract review and signing. We'll agree on the full project scope, cost, financing, schedule and timelines before executing the contract.

Installation, Operation & Maintenance

Our project management team proceeds with installation by adhering to and implementing international standards. Safety is prioritised in all installations. The outcome is a world-class installation conforming to all IEC, IEEE, OSHA and ISO standards. Our maintenance team then ensures system operation and longevity through periodic maintenance activities under a dedicated annual contract.
